Whether you're a beer connoisseur or a casual aficionado, Parkway Brewing promises a memorable experience paired with stunning views and delightful brews.

One of the standout features of Parkway Brewing Company is its impressive beer selection. While the brewery is known for its hoppy IPAs like the fan-favorite “Get Bent”, there’s a diverse lineup of beers to cater to every palate. From hazy ales to refreshing lagers and rich porters, Parkway has something for everyone. Many customers rave about the “Raven’s Roost”, a Baltic porter that keeps patrons coming back for more. According to David R., the brewery challenges the notion that it only serves IPAs, offering a variety that surprises many who walk through its doors.

The service at Parkway is another highlight. Visitors consistently mention the friendly bartenders who are not just knowledgeable about the brews, but also eager to provide samples and recommendations tailored to your tastes. Casey J. noted the staff’s fantastic rundown of the brewing process, enriching the experience beyond just sipping beer.

Moreover, Parkway Brewing is committed to the community—regularly hosting events and fundraisers, like their recent efforts to collect donations for hurricane victims. This dedication to both craft and community enriches the Parkway experience, turning it into more than just a place to drink beer; it’s a space for connection and support.

If you find yourself in Salem, a stop at Parkway Brewing Company is essential. The combination of delicious craft beers, welcoming atmosphere, and community engagement creates not just a brewery, but a destination. As Kimberly F. aptly put it: “It’s a great place to have a beer if you are in Salem.” Don’t miss out on the opportunity to enjoy a cold one and soak up the lively environment at this charming brewery.

This was a return visit for my husband and the first time for me. My husband really likes the mango IPA. The bartender was quick and friendly. There is a large area for seating. We stopped by early on a weekday and it wasn't too busy. The work area is very clean. It's a great place to have a beer if you are in Salem.

Love stopping at Parkway Brewery while in the area! Great ambiance and the staff is great. Huge selection of beers and the manager gave us a fantastic rundown of the brewing process. Loved all the merch and snack selection. They were also collecting donations for hurricane victims. Can't wait to come back!

Man, if I lived on the residential street that leads up to Parkway Brewing in the charming town of Salem, VA, I'd be in trouble. I'd be there every other day! Parkway Brewing has made quality crafts for years - you can find some of their beers, mostly their high ABV IPA "Get Bent," at many stores in Northern VA. That beer would lead one to believe they are an IPA-heavy place. They're not - they have 2 other IPAs that are lower ABV, including one hazy that I had, and several other varieties such as lager, kolsch, amber ale, and porter. There is ample seating inside and out, and lots of parking. This is probably the only craft brewery with this sort of indoor/outdoor set up (similar to many in Northern VA) in the Roanoke/Salem area, so it does get crowded. Smoking is still a big thing in this part of Virginia, so the smokers have a designated outdoor smoking area. I love the little creek going through the property and the foot bridge you cross. Food truck onsite the day I visited offered BBQ items. I suspect this is a big live band venue too. The band that was playing the night I visited, The Troublesome Blues Band, was awesome, making their way through both covers and what I believe were original songs. A great spot, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Parkway is a great brewery in Salem, va. It's very close to the interstate, hotels, and downtown Salem. The get bent ipa are my personal favorites, but all beer is good! Nice service and a great space

Home of the get bent IPA! We were in salem for a menu tasting and got recommended as a must try brewery by our caterer. Needless to say, we enjoyed our time as it had a good atmosphere and is extremely welcoming. They're kid and dog friendly as well! They have an outdoor area that's beautiful and a food truck right outside. Their selection of beers was hard to choose from but I was happy with my Flat top lager! Service was great as she let us try a few beers before ordering and they were extremely nice. Definitely coming back soon!

Nice set up, good beer, brings in good music, pretty outdoor seating. Parking lot is smallish and for size of place could use more spaces available.

This place is great for the summer. The beers were easy to pick from and tasty. However I caution you this is a place brewing in the land of the IPAs. 6 ipas on this day, and I am not a fan of the ipas, but the place is inviting and comfortable. Enjoy the leisure and the drinks!

We went to our favorite restaurant in Salem Virginia and I got the Raven's Roost from Parkway brewing Company. I asked the waitress where I could buy some to take home with me and she told me it wasn't far from here. When we found Parkway there was no place to park this place was packed. This must be the place to be on a Friday night. There was a band playing people sitting around on picnic tables and there was lots of kids, so it kid friendly. I just ran in and purchased a six pack of RAVENS ROOST it is a Baltic Porter. Maybe next time we can stay longer.

I have been wanting to get to this place for a while and finally had a weekend where I could go over and check it out. This is a nice brewery. It is in an industrial style building on the outside, but they have done a nice job inside with painting and a huge fireplace. They also have garage doors to go up for outdoor seating, but it was closed the day we went... 55F and rain. There is also a large open area where live music can be played. A musician was setting up on the day we were there. There is plenty of parking and a nice selection of beer. It was heavy on the IPAs when we were there. The guy working the bar was a nice guy and let us sample a few beers and gave some recommendations. I ended up liking the red Reformator the best. It is a red style beer.. unfortunately they don't bottle it. They only have it on draft. I will definitely be back when in the Salem area.
